Brock co-founded VRA in 2006. His background of over 25 years of middle-market investment banking provides clients with an experienced advisor who knows how to craft a client's story, navigate a complex transaction process and negotiate optimal outcomes with counterparties, which have included some of the largest and most sophisticated companies in the world.
Prior to founding VRA Partners, Brock was a senior investment banker at The Robinson-Humphrey Company and its successor, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Brock's responsibilities included executing merger and acquisition and private placement assignments across various industries including technology, business services, healthcare and consumer products.
Before SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Brock worked in middle-market investment banking with Dain Bosworth, Inc., a large midwestern-based middle-market investment bank (since acquired and now part of RBC) as well as an Atlanta-based boutique investment banking firm. Additionally, Brock spent a portion of his career as a mergers and acquisitions professional for First Physician Care, Inc., a Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe portfolio company.
Brock received an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
